Indoor paintball at BATTLEGROUNDZ.net is a high action team sport consisting of players shooting Reusable Silicone "paintballs" at each other while trying to obtain an objective. When a player is hit with a "paintball" on his body, or equipment, he is out. Most games at Battlegroundz.net use respawn rules so reentry time is immediate after a few seconds spent at the "respawn" point.

Why Reusable "paintballs" vs. Standard paintballs?
The main reason we use reusable silicone balls is...CLEANLINESS! They fly the same, and feel the same as a paintball that has bounced.  The major advantage is you will go home worn out after a great time, but you will not need a change of clothing to sit in your car.  If you have ever played at a standard indoor paintball field you know exactly what I mean!

In 26 years of existence, the sport of Paintball has become recognized as one of the World’s most Exciting Participation Sports which can be played by almost all ages, 10 years old to 70 years old. Paintball is played in over 40 countries by millions of men and women of all ages and lifestyles. Paintball truly crosses all levels of society and brings people together of all backgrounds into a truly enjoyable game. Whether a housewife or high school student, a professional or a retiree, all Paintball players share a common love for a true adventure in an adrenaline packed atmosphere.

The most basic GAME consists of two teams trying to eliminate the other team members by marking all of the opposing team members out with their markers while striving to Capture the Flag and bring it to their base. This format combines the childhood games of “Tag” and “Hide & Seek”.

The Field:
Battlegroundz.net offers an indoor Close Quarters Battle (CQB) experience. The playing field offers aspects from many different types of shooting sports. Whether you play Woodsball, Scenario, Speedball, or Airsoft you will find the field to be exciting, challenging, and friendly to your shooting style.

Our playing field comprises of an 80’ long hallway, with four rooms connecting to it, totaling about 10,000 sq ft. of play area. The field is separated with many doors, obstacles. We also have the ability to change the field around to give it a new look and to challenge you to a different shooting experience.

Our facility is run in a very relaxed but safe atmosphere that offers breaks between games to check your equipment, get more "paintballs", or have a snack or beverage while sharing exciting stories of the thrills of victory and the agony of defeat, all in good fun.

Most players use a semi-auto paintball marker that shoots a "paintball" every time that they pull the trigger. Battlegroundz.net rents the high quality TIPPMANN semi-auto markers for the new player's use. The rental also includes all the necessary compressed air to power the marker and a set of safety approved goggles attached to a full face mask that covers the face, chin, ears, and of course your eyes. All markers come with a barrel cover that slides over the end of the marker barrel for when the marker is not in use so you cannot accidently shoot a paintball out of the marker. All players are given a briefing before you start playing.

When players bring their own markers they will range from simple to sophisticated, but what they all share in common is a limitation on their power and range.

At Battlegroundz.net we reduce the speed (measured in feet per second, "FPS") at which a marker shoots a paintball to 250 fps. A chronograph is used to test for speed limits, and all markers can be adjusted to shoot under the speed limit.

Players should wear comfortable clothing, preferably loose for ease in running and moving. Most players like to wear long sleeve shirts and long pants for protection of the legs and arms against scratches and paintball hits. battlegroundz.net does rent overalls for those who would like them for $5 for the session. Players should also wear comfortable shoes that are good for running and moving about. A baseball style cap turned backwards or head cover is preferred by many players to cover the top of the head.

The average new player will shoot approximately 200 to 500 paintballs in a session. Pricing of Paintballs is listed on our pricing page.
